About the Role

As a WD Swim Instructor, you'll create a safe, fun, and encouraging environment where swimmers of all ages and abilities can thrive. Your passion, skills, and positivity will help students build confidence, develop essential swim techniques, and enjoy a lifelong connection to the water.

Key Responsibilities

Teach small group lessons (max. 4 students per class) Lead engaging, inclusive, and safety-focused aquatic programs Motivate swimmers at every stage of their learning journey Communicate clearly with students, parents, and team members Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming facility

What We're Looking For

Passion for swimming, fitness, and helping others Previous swim teaching or aquatic program experience (an asset, not required) Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Standard First Aid & CPR-C certification

(required) Aquafit Instructor certification (an asset) Reliable, team-oriented, and adaptable in a fast-paced setting

New instructors welcome -- full training provided!

Availability & Hours

Evenings (Mon-Fri) and/or weekends (Sat & Sun) Flexible scheduling based on your availability

Part-time:

up to 20 hrs/week

Full-time:

20+ hrs/week
