Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Swim Instructor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for educating individuals of all ages in swimming techniques and water safety. This role requires a passion for teaching, strong communication skills, and the ability to create a positive learning environment. As a Swim Instructor, you will play a vital role in helping students build confidence in the water while ensuring their safety.

Duties

Conduct swim lessons for individuals and groups, tailoring instruction to meet the needs of each student. Educate students on water safety practices and swimming techniques. Monitor students' progress and provide constructive feedback to enhance their skills. Create engaging lesson plans that promote skill development and confidence in the water. Maintain a safe and clean environment by adhering to all safety protocols and guidelines. Communicate effectively with students and their guardians regarding progress and any concerns. Participate in staff meetings and training sessions as required.

Experience

Minimum 1 year experience working as a Swim Instructor running classes independently Must have current swimming certifications including the follow: Lifesaving Society Instructor Certificate, NLS, Standard First Aid with CPR-C, Emergency First Aid with CPR-B Strong knowledge of swimming techniques and water safety practices. Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage students of varying ages and skill levels. A passion for teaching and helping others develop their swimming abilities.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $36.00-$39.00 per hour

Expected hours: 5 - 15 per week
