Objective: We are hiring Swim Instructors - To provide safe effective supervision of members in and around the pool area - including prevention of accidents, performance of First Aid and Water Rescue, and to provide quality aquatic instructions to members. Tuesday - 5:00pm - 8:00pm. Responsibilities:
- Maintain a safe and supervised pool area at all times.
- Be familiar with the facility emergency procedures, and to assist in an emergency situation.
- Enforce pool rules and health regulations
- Complete all required maintenance duties, chemical tests, and documentation as required.
- Report inadequate pool temperature or chemical readings to senior staff immediately.
- Maintain all required qualifications.
- Swim Instructor Certification
- National Lifeguard Certification
- Standard First Aid and CPR C certified
- Minimum 16 years of age
- On-site gym
- On-site parking
- French not required
- 4 hour shift
- Evening shift
- North York, ON M3J 2T6: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
- Secondary School (required)
- Lifeguard: 1 year (preferred)
- Swim Instructor: 1 year (preferred)
- English (required)
- N.L.S. Certification (required)
- First Aid/CPR-C Certification (required)
- Swim Instructor Certification (required)
