Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Swim Instructor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching and a strong ability to educate individuals of all ages in swimming techniques and water safety. As a Swim Instructor, you will play a crucial role in fostering a positive learning environment, ensuring that each participant feels comfortable and confident in the water.

Duties

Conduct swim lessons for individuals or groups of varying skill levels, from beginners to advanced swimmers. Develop personalized lesson plans that cater to the specific needs and goals of each student. Educate students on proper swimming techniques, water safety practices, and the importance of hydration and health while swimming. Monitor students' progress and provide constructive feedback to help them improve their skills. Ensure the safety of all participants by maintaining vigilant supervision during lessons. Organize and participate in swim-related events or activities to promote engagement and enthusiasm for swimming. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pool area, including equipment used during lessons.

Skills

Strong knowledge of swimming techniques and water safety principles. Excellent communication skills with the ability to educate effectively. Patience and adaptability to work with diverse age groups and skill levels. Ability to create a fun, engaging, and safe learning environment for all participants. Certification in Lifeguarding is a plus. Certification in Swim Instructing is required
