WD Swim is a rapidly growing swim school based in Markham, committed to delivering top-notch aquatic education in a fun, safe, and inclusive environment. Our mission is to empower individuals of all ages with strong swimming skills and water safety awareness--while ensuring they enjoy every moment of the process!

Position Overview:

We're looking for enthusiastic and reliable Swim/Aquatic Instructors to join our passionate team. As an instructor, you'll lead engaging, fun, and progress-oriented lessons for swimmers of all ages and skill levels. We're seeking individuals with a positive attitude, a passion for swimming, and excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead Small Group Classes

(max. 4 students) in a safe, engaging, and structured manner. Teach swimmers of various skill levels, from beginners to advanced. Create a positive, encouraging learning environment for all students. Prioritize participant safety and respond quickly and appropriately in emergencies. Maintain clear and timely communication with students, parents, and team members.

Qualifications:

Energetic, outgoing, and passionate about aquatics and child development. Previous swim instruction experience is a plus, but we offer training for the right candidate. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Must be legally entitled to work in Canada (no sponsorship available). Availability for weekday evenings and weekends is required.

Work Schedule:

Weekday evenings and weekends. Flexible hours--pick up shifts based on your availability.

Job Type:

Part-Time:

Less than 20 hours per week.

Full-Time:

30+ hours per week.

Compensation:

Pay:

$22.00 - $30.00 per hour.

Schedule Details:

8-hour shifts. Day, evening, and weekend shifts available. Overtime as needed. In-person work at our Markham location.
