Overview

We are seeking a

reliable and motivated

warehouse associate/Delivery Swamper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safe handling and preparation of the furniture for deliveries and pick up.

This role requires excellent communication skills, a commitment to customer service, and the ability to handle heavy lifting and moving tasks.

As a warehouse associate/ delivery swamper, you will play a crucial role in maintaining our reputation for exceptional service.

Responsibilities

Ability to safely handle and deliver furniture including the assembly of the product. Load and unload products, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage. Communicate effectively with customers and co-workers Provide outstanding customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly Navigate efficiently using GPS or maps to optimize delivery routes. Assist in warehouse operations as needed, including inventory management and organization. Assist in order preparation and order pick up Perform general maintenance and cleaning of work areas. Follow safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment. Operate hand tools and power tools as needed for various tasks. Follow instructions from supervisors to complete assigned tasks effectively.

Qualifications

While a valid driver's license is not required for the position but would be an asset. Previous experience in delivery services or furniture assembly is preferred Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively. Experience with moving heavy items and performing physical tasks is essential. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment. Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 80 pounds) and perform physically demanding tasks. Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety practices. Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team setting. Willingness to learn new skills and take on additional responsibilities as needed. Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends if required.

Pay: From $21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 40 per week
