JOB DESCRIPTION

As a swamper, you will be responsible for assisting operators with the repair and maintenance of pumpjacks. You will also be expected to learn and help your operator with minor unit maintenance such as greasing, maintaining fluids, and keeping the unit clean inside and out. Experience is an asset but not necessary; we will train the right candidate!

JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Assist with pre-job hazard assessments and inspections before commencing any job Learn how to operate units and equipment safely and effectively Follow our health and safety guidelines outlined in the Northfork Oilfield Services safety manual Follow government legislation and internal policies and procedures Wear and inspect required PPE Attend safety meetings Any other duties as required

QUALIFICATIONS:

Class 5 license Air brakes is an asset Satisfactory five-year commercial driver abstract Valid safety certificates (standard first aid, h2s, fall arrest) Oilfield service industry knowledge Understanding of pump jack maintenance Strong communication skills Above-average work ethic
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $23.00-$27.00 per hour
