Liquids Transloading Ltd., a growing transportation company located West of Calmar, Alberta is seeking dedicated, safety conscience General Labourer/Swamper to join our team. Safety is a priority and training will be provided to the right candidate. We are exploring apprenticeship candidates, if you are a highly experienced, hands on mechanic with tractor trailer experience but are concerned about your credentials, feel free to apply, we will review your resume with the same respect.

Position Responsibilities:

Perform industrial vac in a safe and professional manner. Follow safety policies and procedures for transporting materials. Run and observe steamers in the yard. Perform seasonal yard duties including cutting grass and snow removal. In the shop, responsibilities include driving to pick-up parts, supplies, tools as needed, and washing equipment in the wash bay. Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

Valid driver's license and personal vehicle with a clean abstract. Physical ability to perform demanding tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing. Reliable transportation to work sites. Strong attention to safety protocols and excellent teamwork skills. Ability to complete pre employment testing regarding drug/alcohol and fitness to work. Must be flexible to work different shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.

Working Conditions:

In-person work. Physical demands include lifting, bending, and standing. Indoor and outdoor work environments, subject to all-weather conditions.

Qualifications

Experience working on drilling rig locations, understanding the dynamics entailed. Current First Aid, H2S, Confined Space Physically fit and of reasonable strength; capable of working outside in all weather conditions Ability to pass drug and alcohol testing and pre-employment physical demands Strong team player looking for the opportunity to excel in a fast paced growing environment. Ability to work unsupervised
