Position SummaryThe Faculty of Social Work at the University of Regina invites applications for one Sessional Lecturer to teach the following in person (Regina) course during the Winter 2025 semester:SW 440 - Counselling Theories and Skills
This course examines counselling theories and skills with a specific emphasis on their application to social work practice. The counselling relationship and counselling process in a variety of helping situations will be explored. Ethics involved with counselling will also be discussed.The semester class period is from January 6, 2025 to April 11, 2025 with the final exam period running from April 14 to 26, 2025.Sessional Lecturers that are teaching in person classes are expected to teach 13 synchronous classes throughout the semester in person on campus.Expectations for Sessional Lecturers include, but aren\'t limited to, the following:
