Job Description

Success will be achieved by identifying SFI opportunities and lead the delivery of an end to end solution for our customers and prospective clients. You will gather requirements and translate these into clear business opportunities that help the customer make better SFI decisions, while adhering to regulatory and disclosure requirements. Another key to success is understanding and fully leveraging the combined offerings of LSEG to address our clients' challenges and requirements.

You will need to act as an external and internal advocate to reinforce the best use of our solutions.

You will also need to work collaboratively with colleagues in Account Management, Propositions, Finance, Pre/Post Sales, the wider Sales Specialist teams, Commercial Policy and others as well as third-party channel partners.

This is a senior sales role, working in a complex, challenging, and ever evolving SFI market that requires creativity, focus, tenacity, and the willingness to learn from both clients and colleagues. You will be responsible for creating awareness, being a deep functional expert helping to grow the market in line with a sales quota.

Role Responsibilities
Working closely with the Sales Specialist's you will help structure, negotiate, and close deals in the SFI space in Americas
Clearly understand the client requirements and provide an end-to-end solution
Proactively identify and develop a pipeline of opportunities
Accurately forecast sales pipeline and sales activities in Salesforce with a weekly, monthly, and quarterly focus
Provide insights and share LSEG thought leadership on their propositions with customers
Act as an advocate both internally and externally including speaking at events, webinars, thought leadership
Build strong relationships with important internal stakeholders and align sales execution plans to maximize customer satisfaction and sales success
Develop and maintain communication with a strong focus on collaboration to all levels of staff and customers
Introduce our Sustainable Finance and Sustainable Investing data and solutions to open and drive deals.
Skills
Bachelor's Degree in relevant discipline or equivalent
Strong financial markets knowledge with solid understanding of how different market participants interact and connect.

Requirements:
4 year college degree or equivalent
At least 4 years sales experience and 6+ would be preferred including experience selling into large matrixed organizations including financial institutions. Strong presentation skills including the ability to present to C level executives as well as prospective users.
Ability to operate under multiple deadlines and understand how to create and manage a sales forecast.
Strong Salesforce knowledge. Knowledge of SFI is a strong plus
