Position Purpose
This role manages key sustainability projects that bring The Travel Corporation's (TTC) global sustainability strategy to life. As a Project Coordinator, it oversees planning, coordination, and delivery of initiatives, ensuring milestones and KPIs are met while enabling cross-functional collaboration. The position also supports the TreadRight Foundation through reporting, governance, and grantee research, ensuring teams have the tools and knowledge needed to fulfill TTC's commitments.
Key Responsibilities
Project Management & Tracking: Lead sustainability project plans, tools, reporting systems, and TreadRight Foundation initiatives to ensure accurate tracking, transparency, and measurable impact.
Training & Internal Engagement: Coordinate and deliver internal sustainability training, resources, and engagement programs to ensure consistent implementation and progress across TTC teams.
Cross-Functional Coordination & Communication: Serve as a main liaison for sustainability projects, providing updates, reports, and communication materials to align teams and inform stakeholders.
Competencies & Attributes
Strong project management skills with ownership, urgency, and attention to detail.
Proficient in ESG tools, data management, and cross-functional collaboration.
Effective communicator with ability to create engaging marketing and presentation materials.
Required Skills & Qualification
3-5 years of experience in project management, sustainability coordination, or ESG-related roles
Bachelor's degree in Sustainability, Environmental Studies, Project Management, or a related field
Familiarity with sustainable tourism, corporate responsibility, and/or ESG reporting
Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 and project management tools (e.g., AirTable, Monday.com, Smartsheet, Asana, or similar)
Strong written and verbal communication skills; experience presenting project updates to senior stakeholders is an asset
