Duties

Prepare maki, sashimi and other raw bar items according to established recipes and standards. Serve food to customers in a friendly and efficient manner. Assist with meal preparation, including chopping, mixing, and cooking ingredients. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Handle food items safely, adhering to all food safety guidelines. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during peak hours. Monitor inventory levels of kitchen supplies and report any shortages. Participate in training sessions on food handling techniques and safety practices.

Requirements

Previous experience in a restaurant or kitchen environment is preferred. Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods. Familiarity with food safety standards and regulations. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high-quality standards. Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude. Willingness to learn new skills related to meal preparation and food service. A passion for providing excellent customer service within the food industry.
