Responsibilities

Prepare and cook meals according to established recipes and dietary guidelines Assist in menu planning to create balanced and appealing meal options Ensure compliance with food safety standards and regulations during all food handling processes Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper storage of ingredients Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient meal preparation and service Cater to special dietary needs as required by clients or guests Utilize knife skills effectively for meal preparation and presentation Provide excellent customer service during meal service, ensuring guest satisfaction

Qualifications

Proven experience in the dietary department or as a dietary aide is preferred Background in fine dining or restaurant settings is highly desirable Strong knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations Experience in cooking, meal preparation, and catering services Excellent knife skills and familiarity with various cooking techniques Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while maintaining a positive attitude Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in food presentation and service
