Duties

Prepare and present a variety of sushi dishes, including nigiri, sashimi, and rolls, ensuring high standards of quality and taste. Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, adhering to food safety regulations and best practices. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation and service. Monitor inventory levels of sushi ingredients and assist in ordering supplies as needed. Stay updated on current sushi trends and techniques to continuously enhance menu offerings. Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests when necessary and ensuring their satisfaction with their meals.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Sushi Chef or in a similar role within the food industry. Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and food handling practices. Familiarity with Japanese cuisine and sushi-making techniques is essential. Previous experience in a restaurant or kitchen environment is preferred. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
