Duties
Prepare and present sushi dishes with precision and artistry, ensuring high standards of quality and taste.
Handle food safely and responsibly, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient meal preparation and service.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sushi station and kitchen area.
Monitor inventory levels of sushi ingredients and assist in ordering supplies as needed.
Stay updated on sushi trends, techniques, and new menu items to enhance offerings.
Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests about menu items and making recommendations.
Qualifications
Proven experience in a restaurant or kitchen environment, preferably with a focus on sushi or Japanese cuisine.
Strong skills in food preparation, cooking techniques, and meal presentation.
Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in food handling.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
