Job Description

Job Duties:

  • Prepare, season and cook food as directed, meeting dietary requirements where required
  • Follow recipes and presentation specifications
  • Operate standard kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
  • Able to Wash and Operate Dishwashing Machine
  • Clean and maintain station in practicing good safety and sanitation
  • Adhere to all sanitation and food production codes
Job Requirements:
  • Ability to recreate dishes following house recipes to house standards of taste, texture, temperature and presentation
  • A genuine passion for sushi, Asian culinary art, flavors and Japanese cuisine
  • sushi cooks who are willing to learn

  • Kingston, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
Experience:
  • Cooking: 1 year (preferred)
