Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled surveyor to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for accurately surveying topograghical features using both total station and GPS. You will also be required to do 3D scanning in an active plant where organizational skills are a must. Experience with underground locating would be an asset as well.

Rotational shifts as well as flights and accommodations available if required.

Overtime paid after 8 hrs and after 40hrs.

Duties

Conduct topographic surveys using total station too capture existing infrastructure inside a live plant. Conduct field surveys using total station and GPS to layout boundarieslimits to assist with the underground locators. Conduct as-built surveys to record the findings from the underground locator as well as any topographic features in the vicinity. Use of 3D scanners to survey existing infrastructure such as piping, structural or electrical facilities. Maintain accurate fieldnotes and sketches.

Skills

Strong knowledge of total station and survey practices is essential. Proficiency in AutoCAD software would be an asset. Ability to build effective working relationships with team members and client reps. Excellent attention to detail with strong analytical skills for interpreting complex data sets. Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, for reporting findings clearly. A proactive approach to problem-solving, with the ability to work independently in the field.

Pay: $42.00-$50.00 per hour
