Job Description

We are looking for an experienced individual to join the Java Group of Companies as a Survey Assistant.

Main Duties

Reporting to Survey Crew Chief and Project Manager(s). Maintain, Inspect and Charge survey equipment including field survey vehicles on daily basis. Load/unload survey equipment, pre-job tailgate review with crew chief. Assist Crew Chief to manage and perform field survey work Assist Crew Chief to help with field survey work, to review and manage project timeline requirements, priorities, and survey methodology. Assist Crew Chief as a company representative, liaising directly with client field representatives and landowners. Assist Crew Chief prepare and communicate field notes, sketches, checklists, and digital data in required formats for Project Managers and Drafting personnel. Assist Crew Chief to contribute to the development and implementation of industry best practices, more efficient field processes and procedures and the innovative use of new technology. Assist Crew Chief and actively participate in and proactively support safety Assist Crew Chief with some office technical survey work may be required in this position; and Other duties as assigned/required by the Survey crew Chief.

Certifications:

Valid Drivers License First Aid H2S Alive ATV/ UTV Operator Training
