Opportunity: Survey Assistant Office Location: Bedford, NS

As a

Survey Assistant

, you will be a part of our dynamic survey team gaining experience from our various Surveyors to aid you in learning. The ideal candidate for this role is someone skilled in using a chainsaw, has an interest in surveying, has a good attention to detail, and enjoys working in the outdoors.

Key responsibilities include:

Work under the direction of a Survey Technologist or Surveyor; Use of a chainsaw for cutting open boundary lines and removing trees and brush; Assist in the completion of topographic and legal surveys; Assist in the completion of construction surveys; Attend safety meetings.
Key requirements include:

Ability to work outside in all weather conditions; Attention to detail; Strong written and oral communication (English) skills; Ability to work in a team environment; Ability to use and experience with a chainsaw is an asset; Survey technician certificate would be considered an asset; Ability to use survey equipment would be considered an asset; and Valid driver's license.
