Ready to suit up as a Surveillance Security Guard

To Qualify to be hired for this position, you MUST have lived in Canada for 10 years and can pass Secret Clearance Status with the Government.

We are currently seeking a Full-Time Security guard for a Data Centre in Barrie. This position is an excellent opportunity for those looking to progress in the security industry due to advancement potential within the site. This role will see you patrolling, providing access control, monitoring CCTV and investigating alarms.

Pay Rate: $20.00 per hour following training and successful approval of Secret Clearance certificate (costs covered by GardaWorld)

Schedule: FULL TIME continental rotation with two weeks days then two weeks nights (Week #1: Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday / Week #2: Sunday, Wednesday, Thursday). Shifts are 0600-1800 on days, 1800-0600 on nights.

Applicants MUST be able to work the full schedule in order to be selected.

Responsibilities for Surveillance Security Guard

Monitor security systems to detect any suspicious activity Document observed events and incidents, writing detailed reports Respond quickly to incidents or potential threats Conduct regular patrols to ensure the safety of the premises Control access to secure areas and verify the identities of visitors Analyze security systems to identify potential vulnerabilities or malfunctions Collaborate with law enforcement in case of serious situations or emergencies
