Position Summary

Apply principles of sterile technique and clean procedure in daily activity. knowledge of the cleaning and sterilizing of Endoscopes. Assist clinical team during procedures where appropriate. Responsible for the cleaning and reprocessing of instrumentation. Operating sterilizers, washer/disinfectors, AERs and other MDRD equipment

Qualifications

Minimum grade 12 or Equivalent, successful completion of community college, sterile supply processing certificate, MDRAO or CAMDR sterile processing certification with preferred 2 years' experience. must be able to speak, read and write English. Excellent interpersonal skills and able to function independently and part of a team. able to prioritize in a very active environment. Excellent attendance, punctuality and work record. must be able to work all shift, days, evening and nights
