Job Description
We are a dynamic aggregate processing company looking for a
Plant Tower Operator
to join our team at our surface mine production plant in Mosport, Ontario. The successful candidate will have 3-5 years experience working outdoors in either a construction, aggregate processing or farming environment and will be physically able to perform hands on physical labour job tasks throughout the day.Job Tasks will include:
Regulating the raw feed material that is being loaded into the crusher plant for processing. Watching the plant for problems and shutting down the system when needed to prevent excess overflow or damage Various Mobile Equipment Operations as required (Cat IT loader, Feed Loader etc) General Plant operations Mobile equipment operations. Equipment Start-up and Shut-down Plant maintenance (crushers, screens, conveyors, etc) Plant set up, dismantling and transport General site clean-up on a daily basis Using a variety of tools including torches, IT Loaders, power tools etc
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.00-$21.00 per hour
Ability to commute/relocate:
Pontypool, ON L0A 1K0: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
Experience:
Surface Mining: 1 year (preferred) Heavy Equipment Operation: 1 year (preferred) Tower Operation: 1 year (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
Class G Licence (preferred)
Work Location: In person
