Daily work responsibilities for this position:
Exceeding expectations to our diverse client base
Professional and effective correspondence with clients, regulatory agencies, lawyers, engineers, surveyors and industry peers
Coordination of projects with our experienced land administration and land agent teams
Effective communication and direction to teams
Consultation and acquisition for various surface interests
Manage all aspects of a project from Public consultation, ROW acquisition, regulatory compliance, construction and reclamation and land requirements for regulatory filings
Skillset of the successful candidate:
High level of integrity and ethics
Exceptional reporting and management skills
Strong computer skills and proficient using Microsoft Office Suite
Familiarity, confidence and commitment to work on linear projects
Ability to multi-task and prioritize a variety of urgent tasks
Field experience with surface land acquisitions, construction attendance
Rural and Urban field experience with acquisitions and third-party agreements
Excellent analytical, problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
Highly organized with meticulous attention to detail and accuracy
Positive, friendly, and professional interaction with co-workers and clients
Experience using Spin II, ETS, OneStop, EDS system, ILRR, myLTSA, CORES, and ISC
Knowledge of First Nations/Metis Consultation process
Experience with Regulatory Acts and their corresponding guidelines, including but not limited to AER, BCER, AUC, CER, and Land and Property Rights Tribunal
Experience with attendance before various Boards and Authorities is a benefit but not required
What you need:
Land Agent Diploma or similar alternative
Valid Alberta Land Agents License (preferred)
Valid Driver's License
Valid Commissioners for Oaths in the Western Provinces
