Join Our Team as a Surface Designer!

Valiant TMS, a global industry leader, is looking for a skilled Surface Designer to join our E.R. St. Denis (Hemming) division. If you're passionate about innovative automation technology and eager to contribute to the development of smart, sustainable factories, this opportunity is for you.

What you'll get to do

Design projects using solid geometry, preparing layout and detail drawings with solid modeling techniques. Construct and modify designs and mathematical surfaces. Retrieve and display necessary drawings and graphics, including grids, scales, radii, and drafting symbols. Manipulate displayed graphics by rotating views, adjusting dimensions, and modifying data to refine designs. Verify the completeness and accuracy of final drawings before releasing or storing design data. Produce finalized hard copy drawings with required details such as elevations, cross-sections, and projections.

What we are looking for

Education:

University degree in engineering or college diploma in mechanical engineering technology (or equivalent experience).

Experience:

5+ years of direct experience with 3D and 2D design. Experience with sheet metal stamping or hemming die designs is recommended.

Software Skills:

Experience with Catia and/or Siemens NX software.

Communication:

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Work Authorization:

Must be legally authorized to work in Canada.
