Role Specific Accountabilities

• Complete the creation of artwork that will be applied to products (ie. illustrations, patterns)
• Create CADS to support product development
• Identify freelance workload as required
• Complete the creation of themes/mood boards to support category strategy and product development
• Complete market research on artwork/illustration trends to enable the completion of themes/mood boards

Knowledge & Skills

Requirements

• 5+ years experience as a designer; ideally working in fashion or soft home goods
• Highly skilled in research, ideation, concepting, graphic design, and colour theory
• Strong written and spoken communication and presentation skills
• Skilled in relationship and project management, and attention to detail
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and CAD Software
• Bachelor\'s Degree in Fine Arts or equivalent; experience working in the creative industry strongly preferred.

• Bilingual English and French and/or Mandarin
