Position: Surety Account Manager, Insurance Brokerage
Location: Downtown Toronto
Salary: Competitive salary + benefits + RRSP matching + 3 weeks of vacation
Schedule: Hybrid (2 days per week)

The Surety Account Manager is a client-focused professional responsible for ensuring the smooth and timely handling of all bonding needs across construction and commercial projects. Serving as a key liaison between clients, advisors, and internal teams, this role requires strong organization, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering excellent service to keep bonds and related processes running seamlessly.
Key Responsibilities
- Issue and manage a range of surety bonds, including bid, performance, and maintenance bonds.
- Review bond requests and project information to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Track renewals, invoices, and bond status to keep clients informed and deadlines met.
- Maintain organized client records and ensure internal systems are up to date.
- Support new submissions and coordinate with internal teams to gather required documentation.
- Provide general support for commercial servicing needs as required.
What We're Looking For
- 3-5 years of experience in surety, ideally within a brokerage.
- Active RIBO license is required.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple accounts simultaneously.
- Organized, proactive, and collaborative team player.
- Knowledge of surety products and basic commercial insurance concepts is an asset.
