About the Role

We're seeking a compassionate, reliable, and dedicated Support Worker to join our team in providing care to an individual in residential settings. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a supportive environment and is passionate about making a meaningful difference in the lives of others.

Key Responsibilities

Provide day-to-day support to an individual with developmental disabilities and mental health challenges Assist with personal care when out in the community Offer companionship, emotional support, and assistance with community activities or outings Support clients with using HandyDART Foster a safe and respectful living environment Maintain accurate documentation and communicate effectively with team members and supervisors Follow established protocols and maintain professional boundaries

Qualifications & Competencies

Previous experience working in residential care, home support, or with vulnerable populations is an asset Valid First Aid/CPR certification Clear criminal record check with vulnerable sector screening Strong communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently while maintaining professionalism Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends Driver's license (asset)
