We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Community Support Worker to join our CPLF team,

who lives in Strathmore

As a Community Support Worker, you will work directly with a male adult with a disability who enjoys dancing and talking to people. Calgary Progressive Lifestyles Foundation (CPLF) Support Workers facilitate participation in recreational and social activities, supporting personal growth and community involvement, and ensuring overall well-being of people with disabilities. $22.66 per hour

Benefits:

Health Benefits after 3 months of employment. Medication Administration Training, Crisis Prevention Intervention Training, Abuse Protocol Training, and Positive Behavior Support Training will be provided.

Job Requirements:

Must be a Canadian Citizen or Permanent Resident

Police Clearance with Vulnerable Sector Check (within the past two years)

Must be empathetic and patient individual

Experience working in the field is an asset

A reliable vehicle and valid driver's class 5 license

o If hired, we require two million in third party liability vehicle insurance

Valid First Aid (Level C) certification required within 3 months of hiring.
