About the Role:

We're looking for a caring, patient, and dependable individual to join our small family-centered care team supporting a 16-year-old youth with an intellectual disability. This role focuses on building connection, providing daily living support, and fostering a calm, positive environment where safety and independence are encouraged.

Responsibilities:

Support daily routines, personal care, and life skills development Engage in activities that promote social, emotional, and physical well-being Provide supervision during community outings and home-based routines Model patience, kindness, and respect in all interactions Communicate effectively with family and team members to ensure consistency and structure Maintain a positive, supportive, and inclusive environment
Qualifications & Skills:

Experience working with individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities is an asset Patient, compassionate, and reliable Able to remain calm and flexible in a dynamic environment Strong communication and teamwork skills Valid driver's license and background check are considered assets
Work Environment:

This position is part of a small, family-centered care team that values collaboration, consistency, and respect. Training and coaching are provided.

Schedule & Pay:

Flexible hours available. Compensation based on experience.

Paid weekly ask about pay.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $20.00-$24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 40 per week
