Job Overview

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Support Worker to provide high-quality care and assistance to individuals in various settings, including assisted living facilities, nursing homes, and private homes. This role is vital in supporting the well-being, independence, and comfort of seniors and individuals with disabilities. Duties

Assist with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Administer medications following prescribed schedules and safety protocols Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a respectful and caring environment Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and preferences Perform light housekeeping tasks including cleaning and maintaining a safe living environment Support clients with mobility and transfer techniques to promote independence Monitor health status and report any changes or concerns to healthcare professionals or family members Assist with activities that promote mental stimulation and overall well-being, such as recreational activities or outings

Requirements

Prior experience in assisted living, nursing home care, or home care is preferred Experience working with seniors, people with disabilities, or those with dementia is highly desirable Knowledge of medication administration procedures is a plus Strong caregiving skills with patience, empathy, and excellent communication abilities Ability to perform light cleaning and meal preparation tasks efficiently Compassionate attitude towards providing personalized care tailored to individual needs Ability to work flexible hours as needed; previous experience in senior or home care is advantageous Certification or training in caregiving or first aid is beneficial but not mandatory

Pay: $17.61-$23.00 per hour
