Support Worker
SCE LifeWorks supports adults who have intellectual disabilities to work and participate in the community.
SCE LifeWorks is seeking an Individualized Support Worker to work Monday through Friday from 8:30 am to 3:30 pm, providing one-to-one support for a lady who lives with an intellectual disability.
Job Details:
- Job duties include supporting this person with her paid employment and also her volunteer work, exercising at the local gym, and recreational activities.
- The ideal candidate will have experience supporting people who have intellectual disabilities/traumatic brain injury.
- A vehicle is required for this position.
- The starting rate is $18.67 per hour. In this position, the staff works 7 hours and is paid for 8 hours per day.
- Training is provided.
A second position is open for 37 hours per week supporting two gentlemen Monday to Friday.
In this position, the staff person must be physically able/willing to learn to cross-country ski and bike ride.
A vehicle is also required for this position.
