Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Support Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide essential assistance to individuals in need of care, particularly seniors and those with disabilities. This role involves supporting clients in their daily activities, ensuring their comfort and safety while promoting independence and dignity.

Duties

Assist clients with personal care tasks, including bathing, grooming, and dressing. Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance the quality of life for clients. Prepare nutritious meals according to dietary restrictions and preferences. Administer medications as prescribed and ensure adherence to medication schedules. Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients by performing light housekeeping duties. Support clients with mobility and transportation needs, including accompanying them to appointments. Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as meal preparation, cleaning, and laundry. Provide specialized care for individuals with dementia or other cognitive impairments.

Experience

Previous experience in assisted living, senior care, nursing home settings, or caregiving is preferred. Familiarity with medication administration protocols is a plus. Experience in home care or providing support for individuals with dementia care is beneficial. Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients and their families. A compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others live fulfilling lives.

Pay: $18.50-$23.80 per hour
