We are looking for a skilled individual to join our team as a Support Worker. The successful candidate must have direct patient care experience in the community setting. Home Care experience is an asset for this role. The ideal candidate will perform personal care and companionship-related service requests in the client's home and community.

Qualifications:

Active directory status on the Alberta Health Care Aide Directory. Must provide a confirmation letter as proof of enrolment from the Directory at https://www.albertahcadirectory.com/health-care-aides/confirmation/. Nursing students currently enrolled in an approved Alberta nursing program who have completed a minimum of 100 hours of practicum and are either in their 1st year of a practical nursing program or 2nd year of a baccalaureate nursing or psychiatric nursing program will be considered. Must attest to this compliance and provide proof of qualification.

Additional Qualifications:

Excellent interpersonal, communication, time management, decision-making and assessment skills. Physically able to perform all service request tasks. Ability to perform all duties following related legislation. This position requires a vehicle for business use. You'll need a valid driver's license and access to a motor vehicle in good repair for work-related travel. Must be willing to sign a non-disclosure agreement and a contractor agreement.

Responsibilities

Provide compassionate caregiving to individuals in need of support. Assist with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, and grooming. Administer medications following proper protocols and guidelines. Engage in meaningful interactions and activities to enhance quality of life. Maintain a clean and safe environment for the individuals under care. Collaborate with Noosu Admin to ensure holistic care for patients.
