We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Support Worker to join our team. Responsibilities

Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming. Provide care and support for individuals with cognitive impairments. Administer medications as prescribed, ensuring compliance with healthcare guidelines. Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs. Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients by performing light housekeeping tasks. Offer companionship and emotional support to enhance the well-being of clients. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans. Monitor clients' health status and report any changes or concerns to the appropriate personnel.

Skills

Experience in caregiving, particularly in senior care or assisted living settings. Knowledge of dementia care practices and techniques. Familiarity with medication administration protocols. Ability to prepare meals that meet dietary restrictions and preferences. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients, families, and healthcare teams. Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others improve their quality of life. Organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail. Physical stamina to assist clients with mobility and perform necessary caregiving duties. Valid Manitoba Class 5F driver's license.
