Support Technician - Event Services (Contract)
Regina, Saskatchewan
Part-time, 1-day contract | Competitive hourly pay

About the Role:

Data On The Spot (DOTS) is seeking a reliable, tech-savvy Support Technician to assist with a live event in Regina, SK. This role suits someone who stays calm under pressure, communicates clearly, and is comfortable supporting both technology and people in real time.

Event Date and Hours:

Wednesday, November 5
Single day. Exact call times to be confirmed.

Responsibilities:

Provide on-site technical support during the event (AGMs, conferences, voting sessions) Assist with setup and teardown of equipment (laptops, voting devices, internet connections) Troubleshoot common tech issues and support attendees on-site Communicate clearly and professionally with clients and participants Follow detailed instructions and coordinate with our remote team

Requirements:

Must be located in the Regina area Previous experience in events, AV tech, or customer support is an asset Strong communication and organizational skills Comfortable with laptops, basic software, and internet-based tools Dependable, punctual, and detail-oriented

Compensation:

$25 per hour Hotel can be provided if needed Local expenses covered as required Training and equipment provided
This is a one-day contract tied to the November 5 event with the opportunity to work future events.
