How you will make an impact:

Reporting to the General Manager Gather, the Support Staff works diligently to ensure our guests receive quality service and have a wonderful experience that exceeds their expectations each time they visit Gather Craft Kitchen & Bar. Support Staff will provide warm, and caring service, and exhibit deep "ownership" of the restaurant and its unique mission.

As a Support Staff F&B, you will:

Be the first point of contact for guests over the phone. They will cheerfully greet guests, manage reservations, take guests to their table, and provide them with a menu. Quickly clear dirty table settings and prepare table for resetting; promptly and consistently reset all service ware as instructed Maintain stock and cleanliness of stations for all meal periods with necessary equipment, including silverware, linen, and condiments; wipe down booths and chairs, move tables and chairs, and clean floors as necessary Serve guests beverages, bread and butter and replenishes as necessary; assist servers with food and beverage service Transport all dirty tableware from dining room to dishwashing area Perform any general cleaning tasks using standard cleaning products as assigned by supervisor Fold napkins throughout the day to maintain an adequate supply Perform all assigned side work, including replenishing condiments and restocking side stands Perform other duties as assigned, such as cleaning unexpected spills, handling special guest requests, and greeting and seating guests

About you:

Previous work experience or training is an asset Attention to detail and a strong sense of urgency Excellent communication skills Ability to work in a fast paced and high-volume environment Demonstrate positive attitude and professional demeanor Ability to move, lift, carry, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds without assistance Physical ability to carry out the duties of the position
