We are looking for a motivated and tech-savvy student to join our IT team in the role of IT Project Support. This position will provide hands-on computer hardware and mobile device provisioning, shipping and receiving, and general IT support for our corporate office.
What You'll Do
Computer Hardware Provisioning:
Assist in the setup, configuration, and deployment of computer hardware and peripherals for new and existing employees.
Evergreening:
Support the IT team in the process of replacing outdated hardware and software with newer technology to ensure optimal performance and security.
Shipping and Receiving:
Manage the logistics of IT equipment, including receiving, inventorying, and shipping hardware and software as needed.
IT Support:
Provide technical support to corporate office staff, including troubleshooting hardware and software issues, assisting with network connectivity, and resolving IT-related problems.
What You'll Bring
Experience:
Basic understanding of computer hardware and software
1-2 years of experience working with computer hardware and software is preferred
Education:
Currently enrolled in a Computer Science, Information Technology, or related program, or experience in a related field
Technical Skills:
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask
Soft Skills:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong communication skills - oral and written
Superior interpersonal skills with a strong client-service orientation
Self-motivated, creative, and innovative with the resources at hand
Strong attention to detail and a high standard for thorough and clear documentation
