We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide essential support to individuals in need of assistance with daily living activities. This role is vital in enhancing the quality of life for individuals with disabilities, ensuring they receive the care and attention necessary for their well-being. A support home provider welcomes an individual to live in their home and be a part of their family while meeting the individual's needs.

Responsibilities

Assist individual with daily living activities Willingness to make a long term commitment by providing care to an individual while they reside in your home Provide companionship and emotional support to individual Assist with administering medications as prescribed and monitor for any side effects or changes in condition Prepare nutritious meals according to dietary needs and preferences. Maintain a clean and safe environment for individual Assist with transportation needs, ensuring safety during outings or appointments. Document individual progress and report any concerns to healthcare professionals, family members, agency Support individual to access the community To maintain community connections while seeking new positive relationships To support and assist with maintaining connections with family and friends. To provide meaningful activities To support and promote the individual's independence while building skills To attend training as required and complete individual specific paperwork

Qualifications

Previous experience in caregiving, home care, assisted living, is preferred Experience working with individuals with disabilities is a plus Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others Must have a Class 5 driver's license and be willing to obtain 2 million dollar liability insurance High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in caregiving or related fields are advantageous.
