Catholic Social Services is currently recruiting for a contract, full time (40 hours/week), Support Coordinator in Red Deer in the Foster Care Program.



This is a temporary contract position with the possibility of extension.

Job Summary:

As Support Coordinator, you will coordinate and implement support services to foster families as identified in the service plan. This may include conducting initial assessments, service planning, case notes, and follow up meetings to verify that the needs and requirements of children and foster families are being met. This position may include facilitating connections for families to external resources. This position may act as a point of contact for various support services agencies and as an advocate for children and foster parents. This position includes recruitment and retention of foster parents and working as part of an interdisciplinary team to meet the needs of children in care.

What This Job Requires:

Diploma or Degree in Human Services (or equivalent) Minimum 3 years' experience working with individuals with emotional and behavioral needs Experience supporting individuals with complex and high behaviours On Call with flexibility to work evenings and weekends when necessary Supervisory experience is considered an asset Valid First Aid and CPR is considered an asset Vulnerable Sector Check Child Intervention Record Check Valid Driver's License Reliable Vehicle

The annual compensation for this position is $54,288.00 to $61,110.40 per year based on qualifications and experience. Benefits available when eligible.
