Support Consultant
Full Time / Permanent
Location: UK, West Coast North America region

Due to continued growth and success, we have an immediate opening for a talented Developer Support Consultant to join our dynamic team. As a Developer Support Consultant, you will have the opportunity to work alongside some of the brightest minds in the ERP consulting industry. Given the location of our clients, and the remote nature of the work required, we are also flexible on location.

Excited to face any new challenge, you will bring to this position the following skills and qualifications:

  • University degree / college diploma in an IT related field from a recognized post-secondary institution or previous professional software development experience.
  • Experience using a variety of web development tools, including .NET framework using C#, ASP.Net \xe2\x80\x93 MVC or ASP.Net Core, SQL, JavaScript front end frameworks, Angular, HTML5, Single Page Web Application Development.
  • Experience working with Database Design, Development and troubleshooting
  • Analytical, problem solving, and troubleshooting abilities are essential.
  • Working knowledge of Visual Studio.
  • Knowledge and experience supporting ERP solutions would be an asset.
  • Knowledge and exposure to configure software integrations and tools within large enterprise environments.
  • Familiarity with source control such as GIT or ado.
  • Experience with application support in an AWS (or other cloud environment) considered a strong asset.
  • Knowledge of software architecture patterns and practices such as MVC, MVVM, Asynchronous Programming, Stateless Programming.
  • Experience with programming and support in Client/Server environments.
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal) and the desire to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Ability and passion for learning new technologies.
  • Experience in a server administration with Web Apps or Web App development would be considered an asset.
  • Experience in IT Consulting and/or Client Consulting will be considered an asset.
As a Developer Support Consultant, your responsibilities include:
  • Collaborating with various support teams and clients to deliver an excellent customer service experience.
  • Using a ticket system (email based) you will work directly with clients to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues within their server environment.
  • Creating and maintaining procedural documentation for our internal support processes.
  • Troubleshoot application-level issues; reviewing integrated systems to identify errors or failure points.
  • Properly identify and resolve product and technical questions and inquiries.
  • Provide quick response times and resolutions through a ticketing system.
  • Code review to identify potential software bugs; reporting issues back to product development teams.
  • Document code changes for source control purposes.
  • Write knowledge base articles for support team members.
  • Monitoring systems proactively and addressing any alerts raised by our automated monitoring systems.
  • Monitoring systems ensure processes are running as expected; working with customers to address issues.
