Supply Registered Early Childhood Educators (RECEs)
to join our team on a casual/on-call basis.Role Overview
As a Supply RECE, you will support classroom routines, support in program, and provide nurturing care to children ages
18 months to 6 years
. You will be a positive role model, helping children build confidence, independence, and a love for learning, while ensuring their health, safety, and well-being.Key Responsibilities
Care for and engage children
18 months to 6 years old
, ensuring a safe and inclusive environment. Demonstrate strong knowledge ofchild development
to support age-appropriate learning. Support withprogram planning
and carry out activities that encourage curiosity, creativity, and growth. Provide clearinstruction and guidance
during activities, ensuring preparation and smooth execution. Engage insupportive and respectful interactions
that help children feel a sense of security and belonging.Role model positive behaviour
and encourage cooperative play and learning. Communicate effectively and professionally withstaff, children, and parents
. Work various shifts as needed, with aflexible and team-oriented attitude
.Position Requirements
Registered Early Childhood Educator (RECE)
in good standing with the College of ECEs.Minimum 6 months experience
in a licensed childcare setting.Vulnerable Sector Check
(current within 6 months).3Standard First Aid & CPR Level C
certification.Food Handler Certificate
(asset).Immunization & health assessment
(up to date). Strong in bothwritten and verbal communication
.Proficiency in English, with clear verbal communication and pronunciation, to ensure effective interaction with children, families, and staff.
