Maintenance Planner

Responsibilities



Parts Management

Set up and maintain the plant's stores management system. Handle receiving, storing and locating parts in the parts stores accurately. Monitor, control, and manage items issued from stores area. Daily issuing of withdrawn parts from parts stores in ERP and Computer Maintenance Management System (CMMS) system. Assist mechanics and workers to locate required parts and supplies. Perform inventory cycle counts, spot counts and month end reconciliation process.
Purchasing

Perform all purchasing functions, such as issuing purchase orders (POs), pricing verification, payment authorization, complete entries into purchasing system. Participate in the purchasing process for spare parts, supplies, inventory, and backorders; and gather them in organized files. Maintain production and office inventories for supplies and provide weekly expense reports accordingly. Work with internal stakeholders to secure order requirements, obtain approval, and store shipments. Ensure stakeholders' needs are met by managing orders based on required timelines. Maintain reliable, and positive relationships with suppliers. Negotiate and evaluate suppliers based on cost, selection, service, distribution capabilities and availability. + Organize, and process purchasing paperwork including bids, invoices, bills, vendor comparisons etc. Collect data internally, create a complete file and organize in ERP system.
+ Organize, verify, and process for closing of all POs with their required documentation and submit to AP accordingly.
Compliance with all rules & policies regarding health safety, occupational safety, environmental safety, food safety, legal regulations, company requirements, etc. Compliance with the Company's Integrated Management Systems which includes, but is not limited to Production, Quality, Food Safety & GMP. Other duties as assigned.

Profile



Post secondary education in logistics, supply chain management, business, or a related field is required. 1-3 years of experience in purchasing Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently Proficient computer skills, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel), and ERP and Computer Maintenance Management System (CMMS) system. Good interpersonal and communication skills Able to analyze problems and strategize for better solutions Knowledge of spare parts for manufacturer, production & plant supplies Knowledge of Accounting, Inventory & Warehouse systems Numerical accuracy dealing with data, part numbers or items NB: Successful candidates will be required to provide photo ID, banking details, a valid SIN number, and (if applicable) a valid work permit
