The main mandate of the Supply Planning Manager temporary role is to develop, maintain, and monitor the execution of the production and distribution plan using the SAP-IBP tool, to achieve service level and profitability targets for Agropur's Cheese, Butter and Ingredient category. This position requires close collaboration with other functions of the S&OP process (Demand Planning, Inventory Management, Customer Collaboration) as well as with cross-functional teams (Production, Finance, Logistics).

Salary range 006: 95 900$ to 119 900$ (Salary will be determined based on skills, education, training & experience related to the position.)
What this role entails:
This is a temporary 15-month position

  • Lead and be accountable for the supply review activities as part of the Integrated Business Planning (IBP) process.
  • Using the SAP-IBP tool, own and develop the production and distribution plan to maximize customer service levels at the lowest possible cost for the cooperative.
  • Owns the material planning process, ensuring timely and efficient procurement of ingredients and packaging to support production, while maintaining optimal inventory levels and minimizing risks of supply disruption and losses.
  • Manage the alignment between short- and long-term sales and production forecasts by leading cross-functional decision-making processes that support the category's strategic objectives.
  • Provide medium- and long-term visibility on capacity utilization to Operations, Logistics, Finance, and Sales teams, and propose supply chain optimization plans to increase sales volumes, maximize service levels, and improve profitability.
  • Monitor key supply chain performance indicators and develop continuous improvement plans (e.g. service level, schedule adherence, production plan attainment).
  • Define technological needs and improvements to supply planning tools in collaboration with the Business Process Improvement and Information Technology teams.
  • Lead, engage and continue to develop a high-performing team
What you need to join our team:
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Supply Chain, Engineering, Operations Management, etc.); an MBA is an asset.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a supply planning role and in a management position.
Experience in a consumer goods or manufacturing environment.
Strong problem-solving and strategic thinking skills.
Ability to benchmark best practices and promote a culture of continuous improvement.
Proven expertise in operations, planning, and inventory management methods with an understanding of their financial and operational impacts.
Excellent interpersonal skills to interact effectively with all teams, departments, and levels of the organization involved in the supply planning process.
Outstanding change management skills to adopt and leverage tools, technologies, and process improvements.
Demonstrated ability to successfully thrive in a fast-paced and demanding environment.
Proven ability to develop and build high-performing teams and strong relationships with cross-functional stakeholders.
APICS and Six Sigma certifications are a plus.
Advanced user of Microsoft Excel and other professional tools.
English-French bilingualism.
