Must haves:

Description
Background Information:
  • The purpose of this request is to acquire a Senior Specialist who will be responsible for ensuring alignment between the Provincial Client Registry (PCR) and client identifiers associated with immunization data submitted by the ministry to the Immunization Repository. The Senior Specialist will support the foundation data alignment activities which will contribute toward the overall Immunization Repository project.
  • The development and population of an Immunization Repository is a cornerstone within MOHs \xe2\x80\x98one immunization record (Immunization Repository)\xe2\x80\x99 priority and is in line with Ontario\xe2\x80\x99s desired immunization future state. This work will be one of the forthcoming projects in the Immunization Repository Optimization Program, one of the key components of the Public Health Digital Platform (under Clinical Care Service delivery).
Responsibilities:
  • The Senior Specialist will be responsible for ensuring alignment between the Provincial Client Registry (PCR) and client identifiers associated with Immunization data submitted by the ministry. The Senior Specialist will support the foundation data alignment activities which will contribute toward the overall Immunization Repository project.

  • Experience operating in highly political environments and across various organizational cultures.
  • Working knowledge of privacy policies and legislative processes \xe2\x80\x93 Health Protection and Promotion Act (HPPA), Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act (FIPPA) and Personal Health. Information Protection Act (PHIPA) and associated Health Information Custodian (HIC) requirements
  • Knowledge and understanding of Accessibility for Ontarians with Disability Act (AODA) and related regulations and standards.
Deliverables:
  • Contribute towards the Integrated Project Plan reflecting the timelines and deliverables for the Provincial Client Registry Alignment workstream as well as other client identifier dependencies in the supporting workstreams.
  • Ensure data related requirements are fully met within the repository, as specified by OH and MOH.
  • Complete a data profiling / mapping exercise between the PCR and Panorama to confirm required client information.
  • Support alignment of client profile information between PCR and Panorama.
  • Identify data quality remediation activities post-alignment.
  • Contribute to / participate in working groups related to client information / PCR alignment.
  • Ensure alignment with integration specifications including PCR, DHDR and IR.
  • Contribute to / participate in working groups related to PCR and CMTA.
  • Ensure full knowledge transfer is provided to the Ontario Health team before end of engagement.
  • Provide input for design and migration related documentation as part of Knowledge transfer.
  • Consult and collaborate with Ontario Health\xe2\x80\x99s Remedy SMEs prior to making any important design and build decisions.
  • Conduct code/configuration review with Ontario Health Remedy SMEs for any code/configuration built by the candidate.
Evaluation Criteria:
  • Minimum 5 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience working with Integration Engines for data exchange: 20 points
  • Minimum 5 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience working with HL7 (v2 and FHIR) standards to support data exchange: 20 points
  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal (articulate, detail oriented and factual) and interpersonal (clarifying, active listening), manage conflict or stressful situations: 20 points
  • Experience working collaboratively with business partners and stakeholders to understand and analyze current state, provide recommended approach, and develop factual and concise deliverables: 20 points
  • Proven track record working with a broad range of stakeholder including health care professionals and clinicians: 20 points
Note
This position is currently listed as "Hybrid". The resource under this request will be required to work onsite as per Hiring Manager sole discretion.
