The Opportunity:

Are you a Supply Management Professional with process improvement and talent development experience? Reporting to the Lead, Supply Management \xe2\x80\x93 Governance & Development, we are seeking an individual who will have a unique opportunity to impact efficiency and effectiveness across Canadian Natural\xe2\x80\x99s operations.

As a Supply Management Professional - Governance & Development, you will have the opportunity to play an integral role in a team that drives collaborative, impactful, and sustainable learning and development solutions for the Commercial Operations organization. You will have a direct impact on the performance of Supply Management and Joint Ventures teams by championing people development & training evolution.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Assist in ongoing talent development through the identification of organizational and role specific competency and training needs
  • Collaborate with leaders to identify, design and deliver programs that enhance overall talent capabilities and competencies of Commercial Operations employees, including professional development
  • Champion the development of training tools and technologies; administer and manage via Learning Management System
  • Oversee and administer existing learning and talent development programs
  • Create content & facilitate workshops to support the education, implementation and embedding of new processes/ initiatives
  • Lead or support continuous improvement & change management initiatives with Stakeholders as it relates to Governance and Development, employing best practices, change management & technology
  • Develop and implement change management strategies and plans in support of key Commercial Operations projects and initiatives including impact analyses, identifying key stakeholders, assessing change readiness, analyzing and preparing risk mitigation tactics and identifying/managing anticipated resistance/compliance

Skills & Qualifications:
  • 7+ years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in a Supply Management, Business Analysis, Continuous Improvement and/or systems support role and completion of an applicable university degree or diploma
  • Knowledge of end-to-end supply chain and commercial processes (i.e. inventory management, master data, warehousing, logistics, procurement, contracting, invoicing, etc.); Knowledge of project and change management methodologies.
  • Key competences required:

  • Highly organized and detail oriented
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines in a dynamic, agile and collaborative team
  • Utilizes a structured approach for problem solving
  • Effective interpersonal skills to interface and influence across internal and external stakeholders
  • Demonstrated ability to adapt and respond to the changing environment
  • Certification in a Supply Chain related designation (i.e., SCMP, CSCP, CPIM) and/or Continuous Improvement Techniques (Lean, Six Sigma, Change Management, etc.)
