Job Summary

As an Early Childhood Teacher, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the minds and hearts of young learners. You will create a nurturing and stimulating environment that fosters curiosity, creativity, and a love for learning. Your expertise in early childhood education will guide you in developing engaging Montessori lesson plans that cater to the diverse needs of children, ensuring they thrive academically and socially.

What you'll do

Design and implement innovative Montessori curriculum development tailored to the unique needs of each child. Foster a safe and supportive classroom environment that encourages exploration and growth. Utilize behavior management techniques to promote positive interactions among students. Collaborate with parents and caregivers to support children's learning and development. Conduct assessments and standardized testing to monitor student progress and adapt teaching methods accordingly. Provide individualized support for children with special education needs or those requiring early intervention services. Integrate literacy education, math concepts, and physical education into daily activities to promote holistic development. Maintain effective classroom management practices that enhance learning experiences for all students.

Basic qualifications

Registered with the college of Early Childhood Education Experience with Montessori Curriculum Vulnerable Sector Check Standard first aid and CPR

Preferred qualifications

Familiarity with Montessori methods or other child-centered educational philosophies. Strong communication skills to effectively engage with students, parents, and colleagues. Proven ability in lesson planning and delivering engaging educational experiences. Knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices in childcare.
