Your Opportunity:

The Supply Coordinator is a member of a multidisciplinary team focused on smooth and efficient care of the surgical patient. Primary responsibilities include the evaluation and assessment of unit inventory to support surgical services and endoscopy. Consideration of future needs as well as addressing supply disruptions / impact and recalls. Cleaning and disinfecting of equipment and theaters. Will prioritize and problem solve and demonstrate initiative and judgment when performing duties, whether in an independent or team approach. Incumbent will also participate in quality monitoring activities.

Description:

As a Supply Coordinator, you will be required to perform numerous duties related to customer service and supply distribution functions. In this role you will initiate orders, track medical surgical supplies and equipment, track transactions, monitor inventory levels, manage repairs and loaner devices, and ensure that supplies are available for optimum patient care. You will also be responsible for inventory counts, record keeping, and documentation.

Required Qualifications:

Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent. Experience in health care procurement and shipping/receiving processes. Additional Required Qualifications:

Supply Coordinator experience is required, with proficiency in oracle and i-procurement. Experience in the care and maintenance of sophisticated medical equipment along with knowledge of infection control issues is required. Excellent verbal and written communication skills required. Must possess an excellent command of the English language. Preferred Qualifications:

Service Worker II experience in operating room/endoscopy is an asset. Computer skills required and medical terminology or a good understanding of medical terms preferred.
