Behind every presentation of each product sold by Roche is the involvement of Pharma Global Technical Operations (PT). Starting with Phase I of the development process and continuing through to product maturity, PT makes medicines at sites around the world and includes more than 14 000 employees worldwide. Product & Supply Chain Management (PTS) connects the different parts of Roche to ensure reliable supply of our innovative medicines to customers and patients. The group ensures worldwide reliable supply to patients connecting their needs to the Roche Pharma Global Supply Network. This network consists of Roche manufacturing sites, contract manufacturers and external suppliers. Lastly, PTS leads Product Management Teams within PT, develops and implements product strategies as well as designs and optimizes full Supply Chains from raw materials to final product throughout the whole product life cycle.

In this position, you will be part of the Supply Chain Focus Area "Securing Patient Safety" team. We are highly committed to protect our patients and Roche products against product crime.

Your Key Accountabilities:

Coordinate new serialization requirements and their global implementation. Support serialization global operations with technical investigations and new process design as required.

Actively monitor new regulatory requirements for serialization and trace-ability published by health authorities, share, and verify these developments with internal stakeholders (Regulatory Policy, Supply Chain Regions, and Affiliate Regulatory Affairs).

Be the Roche Single Point of Contact for business with the European Medicines Verification Organization (EMVO) and oversee EU FMD Alert Management and Monitoring.

Take part in the Serialization Industry Round-table; represent the Roche group in GS1 Global Healthcare User Group. Promote and advocate GS1 standards within the Roche group.

Manage strong relationships with a wide range of partners and senior management and closely work with the final customer in order to deliver best-suited solutions.

Who You Are:

You possess a Bachelor or Master degree in Business, Science or Engineering, minimum 10 years of experience in Pharmaceuticals or Biotech Industry as well as minimum 5 years of experience in Serialization and in leading complex, cross-functional projects, in Supply Chain.

Deep knowledge and experience in Serialization, Advance Track & Trace for Pharmaceuticals (ATTP), Supply Chain and Project Management

Ability to deal with high complexity and in matrix organization

Experience in building and leading global teams, including demonstrated leadership capabilities, established credibility and mentoring individuals and teams

Highly motivated with the ability to work independently and result oriented, excellent communication and presentations skills, history of influencing and driving decision making processed

Certifications e.g. Project Management Professional (PMP) through the Project Management Institute (PMI), Lean or green/black belt or SCRUM certifications are highly desired

Fluency (reading, writing and speaking) in English is mandatory, German language skills are a great plus

You are able to travel up to 10%.
