Johnson & Johnson MedTech Canada is recruiting for a Supply Chain Project Lead, located in Markham, ON, Canada.

As a member of the Supply Chain Deliver Project Management Office (PMO), the Project Lead has responsibilities across all SC Deliver project types including large strategic projects, system and process optimization projects and cost improvement projects. In addition to leading assigned projects this role provides oversight and management of the overall portfolio of SC Deliver projects, including the processes and systems to support reporting requirements and schedules.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Lead large, strategic projects for SC Deliver in support of all sectors and the various operating companies including but not limited to cost improvement projects; customer collaboration initiatives; new/ improved capabilities or systems; and acquisitions or divestitures.
  • Lead all phases of the project life cycle applying Johnson & Johnson proprietary project management tools and templates.
  • Cultivate cross-functional alignment to develop and deliver on the final project objectives; ensuring adherence to project budget, schedule and scope.
  • Lead the assessment of project risks, develop mitigation and escalation plans per the assessment.
  • Develop project status updates and communications to project sponsor, stakeholders and senior management.
  • Lead the PMO intake process including project scoring and prioritization with project leads and sponsors; develop recommendations for presentation to the Supply Chain Deliver Leadership Team.
  • Own the Systems & Process Optimization Council, a cross-functional team focused on the enhancement of existing processes and systems.
  • Collaborate with partners to align on project priorities and resourcing requirements (eg. IT, Quality, Finance, Supply Planning)
  • Provide support and coaching to other project leads.
  • Maintain relationships with the North American Deliver PMO to ensure consistency in portfolio management processes, systems and reporting.
  • Lead the CIP intake and stage gate process for all Supply Chain Deliver Canada Cost Improvement Projects.
  • Partner with Supply Chain Deliver Finance to ensure CIP targets are supported by forecasts; recommend and facilitate forecast updates based on project update and reported actuals.
  • Lead bi-weekly CIP project reviews with project leads and analysts; escalate issues or delays appropriately.
  • Maintain relationships with the North American CIP reporting lead to ensure consistency in processes, systems and reporting.
  • Plan and facilitate regular CIP Ideation Sessions for Deliver team members and key business partners to ensure a robust pipeline of cost savings opportunities
  • Ensure accurate and complete reporting of the Canadian CIPs in adherence with the North American monthly reporting schedule.
  • Develop and deliver monthly CIP updates to the Canadian Deliver Leadership Team.
  • Develop and / or deliver, as required, CIP, LRFP, JU, NU & BP updates for Quarterly Business Reviews with senior leaders and management boards of the various operating companies.
Qualifications
  • A Bachelor\'s degree is required
  • A minimum of 4 years of related work experience is required
  • Experience in an Operations, Supply Chain or Logistics role is required
  • Experience in leading cross-functional project teams and gaining team alignment to deliver project objectives required
  • Strong analytical skills and an ability to use data to drive recommendations and decisions
  • Experience in developing and delivering presentations and communications to partners and senior leaders required
  • Proven track record to build positive relationships with business partners and customers and to influence effectively
  • Experience with Six Sigma / Process Excellence / Lean methodology and tools is required; Six Sigma / Process Excellence / Lean methodology certification preferred
  • Formal Project Management training and certification (eg. PMP) is preferred
  • Proficiency in MS office applications, including advanced Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills is required
  • Prior experience with ERP systems such as SAP is preferred
  • Solid understanding of SOX, GMP and Healthcare Compliance is preferred
Other:

This position is located at the Johnson & Johnson MedTech head office in Markham, ON. The workspace is in an open concept area. Local travel to other Johnson & Johnson offices within the GTA is required. Other travel is minimal.
