who will be responsible for leading the supply chain strategy to maximize process efficiencies, align procedures and resources to increase our company's overall EBITDA results and provide world-class service level for our customers. This important member of the Operations Leadership Team will oversee the full supply chain cycle from inbound logistics to customer delivery.
Responsibilities
Lead and mentor procurement, logistics, and inventory management within the supply chain team
Manage day-to-day supply chain functions and production planning activities
Collaborate with leadership and engineering teams to develop and implement processes, procedures, policies, and best practices
Develop and execute plans to scale and optimize supply chain and planning, driving efficiency, ERP automation, quality improvement, on-time customer deliveries and cost-effectiveness
Streamline supply chain & planning operations, creating robustness and redundancy in logistics and supplier networks, assuring on-time parts arrival and accurate build schedules
Cultivate relationships with key vendors and provide internal strategies and guidance, enabling successful vendor management, contract negotiation, stocking agreements, cost reductions and increased inventory turns
Monitor key performance indicators to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions
Plan and manage supply chain budgets and manage BOM cost reduction assignments
Evaluates the environmental effects of the supply chain to minimize impact carbon footprint

Requirements
Bachelor's degree in business, Supply Chain, Finance, Economics, Statistics or other related discipline preferred or relevant work experience
Minimum of 5 years of progressive work experience in purchasing and/or sourcing role with at least 2 years of supervisory experience
Must have experience and knowledge of manufacturing production planning, purchasing and raw materials management
Proficient in MS Office: Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Proficient using MRP software to plan and procure materials
Successful experience working with both US and foreign (Asia based) vendors and suppliers
